SinPlagio collects only the information necessary to provide our plagiarism and similarity detection services:

• Uploaded documents: PDF or DOCX files you submit for analysis. These documents are not permanently stored in any database and are deleted after 5 days of generating your report.
• Account information: Name and email address when you register on our platform.
• Usage data: Information about how you interact with our platform to improve the user experience.
• Payment data: Processed entirely by Stripe. SinPlagio does not store credit card data or sensitive financial information.

2. How we use your information

We use collected information exclusively to:

• Generate similarity and content detection reports.
• Manage your account and provide customer support.
• Process payments securely through Stripe.
• Improve and optimize our platform and services.
• Communicate important information about your account or service changes.

3. Document security

Your privacy is our priority. The documents you upload to SinPlagio:

• Are not permanently stored on our servers or in any database.
• Are only temporarily processed to generate the analysis report.
• Are automatically deleted after 5 days of generating the report.
• Are never shared, sold, or transferred to third parties under any circumstances.
• Each document is only accessible to the user who uploaded it.

4. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use essential cookies for the platform's operation, including:

• Session cookies to keep your account logged in.
• Preference cookies to remember your language and settings.
• Analytics cookies to understand how users interact with our platform (anonymized).

We do not use advertising tracking cookies or share data with advertising networks.

5. Payment processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, a certified and secure payment provider. When you make a payment:

• Your financial information never passes through SinPlagio's servers.
• Stripe uses bank-level encryption (TLS/SSL) to protect your data.
• SinPlagio only receives payment confirmation, not your card details.
• Stripe holds its own PCI DSS compliance certification.

6. Sharing information with third parties

SinPlagio does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• Supabase (our database) for secure account data storage.
• Stripe for payment processing (under their own privacy policies).
• When required by law, to comply with legal obligations or government requests.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data that we have stored.
• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Delete your account and associated data permanently.
• Export your data in a readable format.
• Object to the processing of your data for specific purposes.

8. Data retention

Uploaded documents are deleted after the analysis report is generated. Your account data (name, email) is retained as long as your account is active. You may request account and data deletion at any time by writing to contacto@sinplagio.com.

9. Minor's data protection

SinPlagio does not knowingly collect information from individuals under 13 years of age. If we detect that a minor has provided personal data without parental or guardian consent, we will delete that information immediately.

10. Changes to this policy

We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically. If changes are significant, we will notify you by email.
