1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using the SinPlagio platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use in their entirety. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you must not use our services. Use of the platform constitutes express acceptance of these terms.

2. Description of the service

SinPlagio is an academic integrity analysis platform that offers:

• Plagiarism detection: Similarity analysis between documents and online sources, academic databases and previous submissions.
• AI-generated content detection: Identification of texts produced by AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and others.
• Detailed reports: Visual reports with similarity percentages, detected sources, and AI usage metrics.

SinPlagio reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

3. Eligibility and account registration

To use SinPlagio you must:

• Be at least 13 years old.
• Provide truthful, accurate, and complete information during registration.
• Be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or cancel accounts that violate these terms or provide false information.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use SinPlagio only for lawful and legitimate purposes related to academic integrity. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Uploading documents that infringe third-party copyrights.
• Using the service for illegal or unethical activities.
• Attempting to access other users' accounts or unauthorized information.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or modifying the platform.
• Using automated systems to access the service without authorization.
• Uploading malware, viruses, or any malicious code.
• Interfering with the normal operation of the platform.

5. Intellectual property

SinPlagio and all its content, features, and functionality are the property of SinPlagio and are protected by intellectual property laws. This includes, without limitation: website design, software, detection algorithms, trademarks, logos, and the "SinPlagio" name.

Generated reports are for the exclusive use of the user who acquires them. SinPlagio does not claim any ownership rights over the documents users upload for analysis.

6. Document privacy

Documents uploaded to SinPlagio are processed temporarily and are not permanently stored on our servers. After report generation, documents are automatically deleted. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.

7. Plans, pricing, and payments

SinPlagio offers subscription plans with different service levels:

• Basic Plan: Includes document analysis, similarity reports, and AI usage detection.
• Professional Plan: Includes everything in the Basic plan, plus additional reviews and extended validity.
• Institutional Plan: Designed for thesis and monograph facilitators with a greater number of reviews.

All prices are in USD. Final costs may vary depending on local conversion rates and the user's geographic location. All payments are processed through Stripe. SinPlagio does not store payment information. Once payment is made, you will receive access via email. If the service has not been completed after 3 days, the payment is refundable, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

8. Disclaimer on results

SinPlagio provides analysis reports based on algorithms and databases. While we strive to provide accurate and reliable results, Results are provided directly by Turnitin. Reports should be used as a supportive tool, not as the sole source of decision-making. SinPlagio is not responsible for academic or professional decisions that users make based on our reports.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SinPlagio shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: loss of profits, loss of data, replacement costs, service interruptions, or damages from improper use of the platform.

SinPlagio's total liability, for any cause of action, shall in no event exceed the total amount you have paid to SinPlagio in the last twelve (12) months.

10. Modifications to the service and terms

SinPlagio reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on this page. Continued use of the platform after the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.

We also reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, including features, plans, and pricing, without prior notice.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us by email. SinPlagio may suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time, without prior notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms of Use or that your use of the platform is illegal, fraudulent, or harmful to other users or to SinPlagio.

12. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a competent court, such provision shall be severed from these terms without affecting the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
